Music became a big part of Bernie’s life in 1976 when he spent nearly a year busking through France and Italy playing at outdoor cafes, the Paris metro, night clubs, and colleges. Now, his songwriting is influenced by storytellers whose songs range from serious to lighthearted. His favorites include John Prine, Jim Croce, and Lyle Lovett. Bernie is currently a proud member of Skylands Songwriters Guild in Morris County and co-hosts “The Song Writer’s Gig” podcast.
